White-Glove Moving

A dedicated move coordinator connects the review, packing sequence, planned moving crew, building requirements and receiving result. The surveyor and moving crew may be different people. Describe the desired handover rather than rely on the white-glove label to define every task.

The planning team reviews the inventory through the appropriate list, video or in-person survey and checks both carrying routes. A written plan identifies dates, crew needs, preparation, protection, placement and individually reviewed specialist operations. The quote explains selected stages before you authorize the work.

Floors, banisters, door casings and agreed elevator routes are protected at both ends. Cartons and furniture are photographed and listed under the inventory; cartons are labeled by room and contents so placement follows a plan rather than stops at the entrance.

Local moves are usually hourly under the applicable terms. Estimated or minimum hours are not a fixed total or a completion cap. For an agreed interstate flat-rate shipment, the price is held for the same shipment and service scope; additions and changed access or tasks require a revised written scope and price.

Company cartons are charged separately. Moving blankets, shrink wrap and tape have no separate material charge within agreed moving work. Optional unpacking, packaging collection, organizing, storage and specialist operations remain selected stages rather than an undefined all-inclusive bundle.

Send both buildings’ written COI and access instructions. Confirm management acceptance, elevator windows, lawful loading and who can release and receive the shipment. The crew lead walks through the agreed plan and discusses a change before adding work.
