Plan the work around your life

Moving Services

A complete move, a purchase delivered, or a room ready for its next use. Choose the work you need below, then build one written plan around your belongings, both carrying routes and the people receiving them.

Packing, transport, storage and finishing can be selected separately. Your estimate identifies the actual work, materials, dates and responsible people.

Selected work

Book a move or a specific service.

Written scope

Inventory, access and charges identified.

Connected stages

Preparation, holding and delivery planned.

Receiving result

Placement and optional finishing agreed.

What do you need to get done?

Explore a service for its preparation, conditions, cost structure and receiving result. Combine the stages that solve your particular move.

A useful plan starts with the actual belongings

The object and the route decide the preparation.

A framed work, an upright piano and a household safe need different protection and handling. The room exit, stairs, loading point and receiving space matter as much as the address. Send what you know; the planning team helps identify the details needed to review the job.

Labor, materials & optional work

Compare the work you are buying, not just the number of hours. These distinctions help you choose what to do yourself and what to include in the moving plan.

Working time

Packing and basic furniture disassembly and reassembly use moving labor time. Basic assembly has no separate basic assembly fee.

Supplies & protection

Supplied cartons are charged separately. Basic blankets, shrink wrap and tape have no separate protection-material charge within the agreed moving work.

Selected extras

Box unpacking, organizing, packaging collection and specialist work have their own agreed scope. Choose the result you need before comparing estimates.

Item or taskHow it is charged
Basic furniture disassembly and reassemblyPart of your moving labor time, without a separate basic assembly fee
Moving blankets, shrink wrap and tapeNo separate charge for these basic protection materials
Boxes supplied for your moveCharged separately
PackingCharged for working time; boxes are separate
Unwrapping furniturePart of delivery
Unpacking the contents of boxesOptional work, charged for working time
Packaging and waste removalCharged separately
Complex furniture and other specialist workIndividually quoted after review

Tell us which tasks you want completed and which materials you need. Your estimate should distinguish moving labor, boxes, specialist work and removal charges.

IT transport and disconnection are available; arrange reconnection and system startup with your IT team. Crane work is outside our service scope.

We can also quote island moves, recycling, move-out cleaning and car shipping. For an island destination, provide the exact address so the vehicle or freight crossing, receiving arrangements and final delivery can be reviewed together.

One move, several useful stages

Prepare, bridge the gap, settle in.

Before departure

Pack what you intend to keep

For a downsizing move, compare removal with the packing, handling, transport and storage no longer needed. Include the separately quoted collection cost in that comparison.

Packing can take place before moving day. Arrange the retained inventory, labels and priority receiving contents before the crew relies on them.

    Between addresses

    Compare the complete date gap

For a renovation or temporary rental, compare internal staging with storage, handling and later delivery. A known overnight truck hold and longer storage solve different gaps.

Specify what you need back first, how retrieval is requested and who can release and receive the belongings.

      At the destination

      Make the receiving rooms usable

Plan furniture placement and agreed assembly first. Select box unpacking, customer-directed organizing, hanging or finishing only where they help you use the home.

Name the receiving contact, room destinations and any building or installation approvals. Furniture unwrapping is part of delivery; unpacking box contents and collecting packaging are separate choices.

        Inventory, access and terms

From your first list to a useful written estimate.

Start with the belongings, both addresses, dates and the result you need. A clear item list can be enough for a small, straightforward job. More contents, full packing, specialist objects or restricted access can call for a video review or an in-person visit. You do not need to choose the survey method or work out every measurement before contacting us.

The review connects inventory and access with staffing, preparation and time. Show what travels, what stays and anything stored elsewhere. Include fragile or heavy pieces and the route from each room to the loading point, plus what you know about the receiving property. The person reviewing the move is not necessarily the moving crew.

Your written plan identifies labor, separately charged cartons, specialist work, optional stages, dates and delivery windows. It also records the customer’s preparation, receiving contact and any work assigned to another provider. Review valuation or separate insurance options and their actual terms before booking.

        Choose the right review

Show the move in the way that answers the important questions.

        A clear starting list

        A few straightforward items

Send an item list, photographs, collection and receiving addresses, and the dates you have in mind. Mention stairs, unusual weight or size, seller release instructions and any work you want included.

For a furniture purchase or internal move, confirm the exact piece and destination room. A simple list starts the conversation; a difficult object or route may still need a closer review.

          Live video review

          Walk through the actual contents

Use a charged phone or tablet, good lighting and a usable connection. Show every room, cupboards, storage areas and the exit route. Point out contents staying behind, off-site belongings and items needing special protection.

Agree the video method with the coordinator, including whether FaceTime is suitable. For access that cannot be established on video, further photographs, measurements or an in-person visit may be needed.

            An in-person visit

Review a fuller or more complex job

A fuller inventory, extensive packing or a restricted carrying route can justify an on-site review. Make the relevant rooms and contents accessible, and have building instructions and any object specifications available.

For a business move, also discuss floor plans, phased room release, vendor contacts and the people responsible for operations. Physical equipment transport and reviewed IT disconnection are distinct from your IT team’s backup, reconnection, testing and startup.

              Written estimate & terms

Know what the price covers and what happens if the job changes.

              The route determines the basis

              Local, in-state and interstate work

Local moves are generally estimated from working time and the applicable minimum, subject to the actual jurisdiction’s pricing rules. Estimated or minimum hours are not a completion cap. A long trip within one state does not automatically use interstate pricing.

For an interstate household shipment, the flat price applies to the agreed inventory, access and services. Identify the delivery model and written arrival window, including any storage or crossing arrangements.

              • Check the inventory and both carrying routes.
              • Identify included labor, materials and separately quoted work.
              • Review additions or changed access and record revised terms before the extra work.

              Prepare for the applicable requirements

The survey and documents follow the move

The required review and estimate documents can differ by jurisdiction. For a move wholly within New Jersey, the state describes an on-site or virtual survey and a completed written estimate. The coordinator must account for the requirements that apply to your actual route.

Do not assume that a survey makes every estimate binding or that the estimate includes all possible coverage. Read the stated pricing basis, selected protection options, dates and the responsibilities for any work by another provider.

              • Confirm how and when the belongings will be released and received.
              • Name the building approvals and who obtains them.
              • Keep a copy of the agreed scope and any written revisions.

For the New Jersey survey and estimate requirements, see the Division of Consumer Affairs guidance. Tell us your route so the planning team can address the applicable terms.

              Service planning by location

Choose the work and location for your household move, furniture purchase or business project. Each page explains local access, preparation and the agreed paid stages.

Plan the extra stages before booking

A date gap, renovation or temporary rental can change which services you need. Compare the work with examples in the cities we serve.

              Before you book

              Choosing your moving services

Useful answers about service choices, what is included and how to prepare the estimate.

              Ask a coordinator
Can I book one service rather than a complete move?

Yes. Packing, in-home moving, a furniture pickup, storage and separately scoped finishing work can be selected for the actual inventory and property. Tell us the result you need and the tasks you will handle yourself; the written estimate identifies the agreed work.

Can you coordinate several services in one plan?

Yes. For example, a move can combine earlier packing, separately quoted removal, transport, holding and later unpacking. The coordinator connects the selected work, dates and responsible people. Each optional stage and its charges remain identified.

              Do you handle long-distance moves?

Yes, household moves within the United States and to Canada. Direct delivery uses a dedicated truck and the same crew; consolidated delivery for a smaller shipment uses reviewed arrangements and a wider written arrival window. The detailed long-distance page explains preparation, timing and the two models.

              What does white-glove moving include?

The written plan selects the packing, protection, specialist handling, transport and room placement needed for your inventory. Box unpacking, organizing and finishing are separate choices to agree. The name alone does not establish an all-inclusive bundle.

Are packing, cartons and furniture assembly charged the same way?

No. Packing and basic furniture disassembly and reassembly use working time; basic assembly has no separate basic assembly fee. Supplied cartons are charged separately. Basic moving blankets, shrink wrap and tape have no separate protection-material charge within the agreed moving work. Complex furniture and other specialist work are individually quoted.

Does delivery include unpacking and taking away every box?

Furniture unwrapping is part of delivery. Unpacking selected box contents onto designated suitable flat surfaces is optional paid work. Cupboard, drawer or shelf placement is separately agreed organizing, and packaging or waste collection is separately charged.

Can you help when the next home is not ready?

Yes. Compare a known overnight truck hold with storage and later delivery against the actual gap, inventory and access. Review all loading, holding, handling and retrieval terms together, and identify the contents you need first.

Can you move unusual or heavy equipment?

Yes, confirmed specialist services include pianos, safes, pool tables, gym equipment and reviewed business installations. Send the exact model, dimensions, weight, condition and both routes for an individual quote. Capacity, handling and any technical work are established for that job; crane work is outside our service scope.

How do I get an estimate?

Send your inventory, both addresses, dates, carrying-route photographs and the services you want completed. Mention fragile or heavy objects, building instructions, a date gap and the receiving contact. We review the needed survey and provide written scope, pricing and timing before booking.

A plan for your actual move

Tell us what needs to be ready.

Send the inventory, both addresses and dates, the work you want completed, and any difficult pieces, building rules or gap between homes.
